I would think 2k is reasonable for a thin look, of course we can't get natural density but that is ok. Thin is certainly better than slick bald. But it depends what type of look you want to achieve with, a buzzcut will be ok if you want to use beard/body, but longer styles may not work as well.
Definitely look into other surgeons that use beard or body hair. The reason is, those last 2->2.5k grafts may be more useful to fill in gaps in the frontal half.
The crown, in my opinion, is not as important as the front, as you can always put concealer on it and people rarely look at it, rather than the front which frames your face.
Thank you for your reply if I was to go down the beard hair route I’d probably go with eugenix I’ve seen really good results from them and yes id prefer to have a longer slick back hairstyle but I also like the buzz cut also so I could go for either. How many grafts including beard grafts do you think it would take for average density all over?

I don't know it's hard to say, some surgeons can do "more with less", depending on graft placement, angles, etc.
A consultation with Eugenix would certainly help get a more meaningful estimate.

Month 5 Update!!!
Everything still the same. Crown seems to be thickening up a bit as it gets longer. I’ve also started minoxidil on my donor area I’m not expecting miracles just hoping the sides won’t look so patchy. As for the growth I’d say it’s probably average some days I think wow that’s coming on well but then again there’s other days I think is that it? Any questions hit me up chaps. Would also be nice to hear what you think?

Update!!!
First hair cut today since the lock down nothing special my next door neighbour did it for me haha number 1 back and sides I'm liking how it’s coming on currently 5 months 18 days post op.
Let me know your opinions guys personally I think the donor looks much better shaved down and the crown seems to look better but I still think I will need to go back and get a second procedure on the crown.

Just keep growing the top out to a comparable length to your pre op photos, looks like you had a lot of improvement in the last month so hopefully you can get some more coming through. Good luck mate.
