I went to a dermatologist and they said I wasn’t balding but I just wanted to ask on you. None of my hair looks thin at all. I just get a little paranoid.

your hair texture is not course but it wouldnt classify as balding. How is the front hairline? If it hasn’t recessed then you do not have it. Maybe some maturing as we age. If you start losing 15-25% more hair and it is noticeable where an entire crown is diminishing or your frontal hairs are thinning to a degree it is getting harder to style then yea, it may be start of male pattern baldness. It’s also how you style your hair, some folks slick back, some stuck hairnin front and combe forward, some part it like, oarting can create lines that show skin.

Did you talk to Doctor about taking vitamin d and some shampoos like nioxin or ketocanazole? After speaking with Doctor, Try that first with a healthy diet to possibly see if it thickens hair. If you lose more hair to a degree you can clearly see scalp without hair grafts in those zones, then you can talk to Doctor about minoxidil or finasteride and if they are suitable options.

Also, if you smoke, then that can also thin hair and restrict blood supply as it narrows vessels needed to nourish.

For now, you are lucky you got hair. Live and enjoy.
