Does wearing hair system destroy existing follicles?

Even if their were proof it did destroy follicles, if you're wearing you're wearing over follicles that are thinning anyway thats why you are wearing.

I wore a system for about a year and I've had 3 hair transplants in total. I ditched the system and started meds (oral minoxidil, duta, biotin, zinc) and my hair is as good now as it was when I was 20. Even before starting the meds, let my hair grow back under the system to see what it was like and it was definitely no worse.
