My Dermatologist gave me a liquid minoxidil which also contains 0.1% finasteride, would that cause any sexual side effects?

It can. At such dosage (assuming you would take 1mL a day), the systemic effect is equivalent to 1mg of oral Finasteride.

How so? Not everything you apply topically is 100% absorbed, only 1/19th is absorbed using liposomal finasteride for example.

But to answer your question OP: I do experience some slight ED issues on 0.1% topical finasteride, non bad enough to quit though.

Yes but not as bad taking oral, I have tried both and now I use Topical, my body has adjusted and side effects have vanished over time.
