Does This Study Prove That No Fappers Have A Point?

I always see No Fappers say that their hair quality becomes much better once they stop masturbating. I always thought that this is just BS.

However I just searched for the effect of masturbation on DHT and found a study that says that masturbation actually increases DHT

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/135817

So probably people who have sensitive hair follicles to DHT should actually stop masturbating?

I know this is boring but I never knew that masturbation has any influence on DHT.

Well when we ask 'does masturbation causes baldness"? people says "huh! you fools! if that were the case , almost all the males in this world were bald or don't your friends masturbate? are they going bald?
My reply to them is- not every one have the same sensitivity to DHT, the questions exactly is, as the OP has perfectly put-

So probably people who have sensitive hair follicles to DHT should actually stop masturbating?

and the same people have no answer for this...

Amount of dht has nothing to do with hairloss. It is sensitive AR receptors in skull and hair causing the problem.

If you have a sensitive skull and you are increasing your DHT daily through masturbation, doesn't that mean that masturbation accelerates hair loss in those who are susceptible?

If we apply basic logic, any increase in DHT will therefore, worsen or accelerate hair loss. Don't listen to that guy.

Heartbreaking if I was actually accelerating my hair loss by masturbation.

I said sensitive AR receptors. Didn't you read?

That's not the part of your statement that I take issue with. You said that DHT levels have nothing to do with hair loss, which is disproven by the fact that 5-AR inhibitors (which lower DHT) help with hair loss. If the level of DHT was inconsequential, then they wouldn't, and only AR antagonists like RU or flutamide would help.

I meant dht levels withing a normal range
. if you cut down dht by 90% then that surly helps.

Is there any proof for this? I just assumed it simply came down to an increased amount of receptors and/or alpha reductase in the relevant HFCs.
What increases AR receptors? It is BC sensitive AR make skull grow bigger in turn pressured scalp and initiate a inflammatory cascade. Shrinking follicles needs dht to survive so it increases AR and DHT. It is amazingly paradoxical affair.

That is simply conjecture, skull growth is a nice theory but has limited evidence to support it. Shrinking follicles need DHT to survive, eh?
