So as some of oyu know was on propecia 2 months ran out..was off for 2 weeks ..started again a week half ago on .5mg again well anyway past 5 days i been losing less hair..even before propecia and the 2 months i was on id run my hand through my hair and lose like anywhere from 20 something to 30 something..id wash my hair and lose 10-18 hairs each time on my hands anyway..now i get like 5 hairs on my yhands and lose less than 10 when i run my hands through my hair..this could be just temporay not sure..but if this goes on..would this mean propecia is working?..less shedding i mean..my frontal hair i hope will thicken back up now..but i been on prozac too for 2 weeks..less tress maybe also? causing less fallout..anyway need opinions

u gotta monitor for consitency for at least a week before jumping to conclusions....if after a week , u still lose the same amt of hair (lesser than before), the i think its working for u...

Sometimes yr mind can play tricks on u....there;s a way to find out, heres a tip, when u shampoo yr hair...when u wash it off, make sure u collect the water that washes off yr head in a pail or bucket big enough to catch most of this water....then slowly examine the water to see how much hair u have lost for the day.....It should roughly give u an idea...but though not accurate but it works to a certain extend, better than nothing anyway...

It's the age old question. Will it work for me. Give it at least six months min to see if it works for you. But they do say a year is the best marker....

But you have a good chance it will wok for you.....
