I’m 18 and male, and my father and both grandfathers (and their brothers) went bald. My dad started balding young-ish, but it hasn’t changed much since it got to that point (Norwood type IV, pretty bad looking). My uncle on my mother’s side has an okay hairline for being 70. I use rogaine, and I’m going to see a dermatologist soon because my scalp is constantly itchy, oily, and has sores. When I shampoo, 20ish hairs come out. I already have no confidence, so I really don’t need hair loss on top of everything else. The bottom two pictures are when my hair was drying after a shower. As you can probably see, the right side of my hairline is higher than the left. My hair has been looking dead and fairly thin in the front for the past few months and it’s really worrying me. Does this look like the beginning of male pattern baldness to you?
