Does the hairline contour of a hair system also depend on the shape of your head/forehead?

I've noticed that the shape of my head/forehead seems to have a bearing on the contour of the hairline. I mean, it's possible you could buy a hair system with CC or C contour hairline, but if your head/forehead is more rounded or whatever, it could make the hair system dip down or up more on each side and create the illusion that it's a different contour than the one it was made in. Has anyone else noticed this? How do you correct it?

If you go custom its possible to order the unique hair line you want. Generally, people follow their existing or previous hair line from whats left or a photo - thats seems the most logical hair line.
