Does Switching Brands Of Minoxidil Cause Shed?

I've been using a brand called Alopexy T for 2 months because the derm suggested it. But it's hard to find it in all pharmacies. Would switching brands cause a shed?

In my experience, I used the minoxidil regroe 5% in my first 2 years. Had a bad shed, then it stopped and I had some results in the span of 2 years, though now it stopped working for me. I switched to kirkland minoxidil extra strength 5% this february 2018 and right away my hair is shedding like crazy in just 2 weeks. I really can't tell. Maybe my genetics and male pattern baldness is overpowering it now.
