Night sweats can have many causes. However, considering that you are taking a 5 AR inhibitor that will be disrupting your normal hormonal balance, i think the cause is fairly obvious, don't you?

It is common for women going through menopause and men going through andropause (both miserable conditions) to experience night sweats.

Finasteride screws your hormones up so much that you would never know what exact machanism causes the side effects. Some possibilities:

. Low levels of allopregnanolone and other critical neurotransmitters
. Low levels of DHT
. High estrogen
. Low testosterone
. Prostate cell death and atrophy

I personally experience severe night sweats along with numerous sleep disturbances per night

Propecia yeah very possibly. I don't know why Rogaine would though.

It's impossible to connect such a thing to finasteride or minoxidil.

I had this happen to me on and off long before I started Propecia. I haven't experienced it in a couple of years though.

Could be a total coincidence that it ties in with you starting meds or it could be the anxiety related to you making bold lifestyle changes that is causing it.

WHO KNOWS.

It seems like Propecia might be doing this, as it is a hormone regulator and booster. So well, it is hard to say but you might have to experience it, friend.
