Does Propecia Ever Truly Work For Long-term Anyone Genetically Programmed To Go Bald?

Has anyone who is genetically going to go bald actually been successful taking propecia and HALTING hair loss and thinning completely on propecia for 10+ years? I know the Merck study says yes, but reading on all the forums, I'm starting to think that those people who were successful had good genes to begin with, and for the rest of us, at the best we can slow things down, but we're basically fuckedddd.

Yes my brother is a walking testament to propecia, he was nw3 major thinning on crown and 8 years later is full density nw2 with no noticeable crown thinning. He was definitely one of the better responders

Family history is a bit tucked up, we got balding gene from our dad, who got his from his mother... my dads dad died at 91 with nw1, my dad was nw5 by 25 and his mother lost her hair young as welll too, she was slick bald btw.

Aside from that my moms dad got killed young but at 36 he was full density nw3, so his genes weren't tooo aggressive

Safe to say me and my bro would be following our dads footsteps to young 20 Norwood cemetery if it weren't for propecia

results in 2 months is an incredible responder. i'm 4.5 months in and see nothing. i'm on my knees praying it'll still work for me after 6-8.

it's not working completely? it's odd it would work for your brother and not you. i figured the genetics would be the same.
