Does Nioxin shampoo help thicken hair?

As the topic states. I know nioxin shampoo isnt proven to regrow hair, but I hear that it helps thicken existing hair.

thats kinda expensive but ive been using it for awhile and it does wonders to my hair and is really good

So do thickening shampoos indeed help improve the appearance of thicker hair? Thanks for the suggestion as well I will look into it.
