Does Miniaturization Effect Length Or Width?

I took a hair from the top of my head, then one from the very back. They are both the length they should be if you assume 1/2 inch month since last hair cut, but the one from the top appears slightly thinner.

Is that miniaturization?

Both but don't trip too much over it cause it's non uncommon to naturally have different hair thicknesses or textures from one area of the scalp to another

Yeah I think the top is always a little thinner than say back and sides .....
