Does Hairs On Side And Back Of The Head Grows Faster And Thicker As Compared To The Top?

I buzzed my hairs a month ago and I have good hairs thick and long on sides and baclnof head. My entire top doesn't seems to be catching up. Is it normal irrespective of male pattern baldness?

No it doesn't grow faster, but maybe you have thin and less dense hair in top compared to sided, so that's why it seems to you that the sides hair is growing faster
