I m finding some really thin hair strands on my desk and notebooks, does this mean I am undergoing active hair miniaturization?

Doesnt even normal hair become thin and fall out when it comes to the end of its cycle? But in normal hair it grows back at normal thickness to start a new cycle, whereas with male pattern baldness it grows back thinner/not at all?

That's what I thought anyway
