Does Anyone Recover From Finasteride Sheds?

I think I'm having one, I counted 100 hairs in the shower while shampooing, then gave up counting. Hairs easily numbering in the hundreds.

The v shaped frontal forelock of my hair is visibly thin now, you can see my scalp. True baldness isn't far off for me.

Ill keep taking Propecia but I am beginning to wish I hadn't touched the stuff. Before today all I needed was maintenance, but I'll need regrowth now. When I started this stuff I saw that nearly all who used it stopped losing hair and thought I was saved, now I'm worse off and losing hair faster than ever.

Has this happened to anyone and it turned out well?

How long have you been on finasteride? Yes you will absolutely have periods where you shed and regrow. Especially in the first year.

Please also bear in mind that in the first year or two you will be checking your hair almost every single hour. you need to take a step back and just trust the studies.

If you’re on finasteride you will most likely be fine for years.

I used finasteride for years in the past and it worked very well. to be honest with you I’ve tried most hairloss treatments over the 13 years. As to why I stopped it,
It’s a long story. I might very well make a post on this site telling my story since 2008.

Yes you sounded like I did when I first started treating hairloss. You’ll be feeling worried and convinced you’ll be bald in a month. Everyone goes Through that.
