Does Anyone Else Here Play Video Games?

Everybody wants to escape reality some times in some way or another and games are a very good way of doing it, besides the fact that you could actually learn something from some and train your reflexes, brain and more... I saw The Last of Us 2 on Twitch but never played, it looks good, the last single player i have played and finished was Red Dead Redemption 2, very good game, i was impressed, can't wait for GTA VI

Especially since (some) games these days have great graphics it all feels much more immersive and it really does feel like you're in another world. For example when I played The Last of Us 2 I was astonished at the graphics, environment, details. Although the story is not as good as the first TLOU and I can understand why so many fans are mad about it it's still a beautiful game. I played RDR2 too but I wasn't so hyped about it like some people... still a great game though
Yeah, clearly the graphics play a big part in it, i remember the days when i was playing prehistoric 1 and 2 in dos and many other haha, i was there at the beginning of them all, at the first HC's and many other shits, when i see games now and think of the past it's unbelievable how much they have evolved. Cyberpunk 2077 will be dope also, i saw some gameplay recently it was astounding, looks really good and hope the story and multiplayer are gonna be dope also...

I'm currently playing Streets of Rogue, I'm playing it on endless and with mixed environments, I have serious OCD about games like this because there's a certain amount of money to be made in each level and I spend way too long making sure I max that out. XD
That aside I am trundling very very very slowly through MGS V and I must say I'm enjoying it, I'm also really OCD about that game insofar that I will Fulton every single machinegun, mortar and anti air gun, tank, jeep, and APC that I can find, lol. You actually can make a bit of good scratch doing that as well.
I used to play GTA online but I seriously cannot stand what a mess the Mk2 and modders made of that game. I will say however I did actually break and become a modder in GTAO but I didn't grief, but I realized I spent most of my time punishing assholes who griefed other players and that stopped being fun. I was actually the modder who came into sessions and people knew me and really liked me, and half the time I didn't even do money drops, people just liked me being around because I'd f*** sh*t up if anyone started griefing.

Tekken Tag Tournament was the apex of the series, after that the entire model of the game took a shift and it basically replaced DoA entirely and then it started to replace Soul Calibur as well in terms of craziness.

I'm assuming that's games that increase anxiety, and if you've played GTAO, and you've been griefed, then yes, but it's not just DHT, the main culprit behind that is not DHT but DHEA and cortisol (the latter I don't have to worry about).
It's the same principle behind getting angry or extremely stressed, both will stimulate your adrenals to pump out DHEA which will get too high if the stimulus persists.
You just gotta play things that are chill, it's not the mental engagement otherwise you're basically fucked for doing anything at all except being a vegetable.
Driving should have made me bald when I was in my 20s given how psychotic the drivers were where I lived.

I love a good racing game, 90% of my library is made up of them (usually use https://torrentsites.com/gaming-torrent-sites/ for this purpose). Currently juggling my time between:

Mainly play on PS4. Also own other PlayStation consoles and have a old budget PC build. Recently beat NFS Heat which was a bit boring at first but got a lot better halfway through. Hated the music though. I'd say my favourite genres are hack n' slash, JRPG, RPG... really like everything apart from sports games. Haven't played many RTS or FPS games so can't really say what I feel about them.
Excellent taste. That's probably my favourite as well or at the very least one of them. Others would be Shadow of the Colossus, God Hand, Persona 3, Bloodborne, the original Nier, Spyro 2,Tekken3 and Devil May Cry 3.
