Doctor wont prescribe finasteride, any ideas ?

19 years old, early stages of male pattern baldness with some temple thinning. I want to hop on finasteride asap to keep what I have. Went to my gp today and told me that its genetic and I have to live with it. Does anyone have any ideas ? Ive looked at online pharms but none ship to canada. I have access to firide but its a thai generic and I dont really trust it. Any help is appreciated.

totally unacceptable for a doctor to say 'just live with it'. Unless he was against you taking finasteride on some kind of medical grounds relating specifically to you.

Find another doctor, or ask to see a consultant derm/hair doctor
