My doctor will not prescribe 5 MG finasteride or Propecia. Says "The 1 MG is for cosmetic use. The 5 MG is for a different use..."
So Walmart has the 5 MG ($9)(30 tablets which if I break up into 4ths, = 4 months supply)
1 MG is like $30, so 4 months suppy = $130...
WTF!
Anyone else have a problem with your DR not prescribing 5 MG?
I'm looking for anything else to add, vitamins that actually help...
I'm not looking for miracles. Almost 50 with slow thinning hair.
Rogain has helped slow the process, which is what I'm really looking for right now.
Also, A concealer, I use GRAPHITE powder and rub it in my finger tips, then rub it in my scalp. I have somewhat dark hair and I swear to Bajeebus it is a life-savor.
