doctor refused to write prescription for propecia, can someone link me a good site?

Thank you. So, stupid question (and I'm sure you're used to that from me by now): why do they say they do require a prescription on their FAQs? Is it just to cover their backs and they don't actually require one, or is finastride (or similar) a non-prescripton drug?

I'm guessing some drugs require prescription...but you can order finasteride/propecia and just checkout/pay without any prescription.
