So i've been on rogaine/nizoral/biotin/etc for about a week and have decided to give propecia a try since everyone here recommends it, also i figure if my hair looks like ****, it won't matter if my balls fall off or not :p (jk lol)

got an appointment with a local Doctor, payed my 30$ co payment...told him about propecia and he says "hm... sorry but i dont recommend people take that, you are young, if you just focus on stressing less your hair should be fine.."

so 30 bucks down the drain :(

has anyone here bought propecia online? i hear you can buy it online without a prescription. can someone link me to a reputable site/product page?

also how many MG should I take?

thanks

thanks, alldaychemist.com looks more legit, when i googled "buy propecia online" it just linked to a bunch of those "miracle pills" spam sites...

what is a hair transplant doctor? this was just a regular family Doctor, not a dermatologist either.

btw i just saw your progress pics, thats pretty damn impressive.

Haha. Let me guess, this guy was either unattractive or slick bald. Most likely thinking "I had to deal with being unattractive, so should you".

Same old bullcrap every single one says. I feel you, had to get finasteride from a private clinic because of that.

You can be a Buddhist monk, totally zen. If male pattern baldness hits, it HITS! It's genetic. I swear some doctors haven't been through school.

dutasteride isn't much different then finasteride just a tad more powerful. hair transplant doctor = hair transplant doctor

indian generics are good

Unfortunately many doctors don't take the impact hair loss can have on our lives seriously. Obviously we are asking because it is bothering us and we want to stop it from progressing. My current doctor didn't want to prescribe it either, I had to just about force him to.

Id tell you my case but notcool has it covered.
But you should NEVER go to a normal doctor for hairloss.
Try for a trichologist. Also 30 bucks is kinda pushing it IMO, but then im in india. Share your age and pics.

I didnt even bother asking my Doctor I know he wouldnt do it. Hes pretty anti medication in general which I honestly see why that is. Could I see a derm for prescription and then just tell the Doctor next time that I am on it and have him write refills everytime I need them? The derm is too expensive and I know he will try to get me to keep coming back. My Doctor is cheaper. It hurts because I have that itch at the hair line and I know for sure its DHT doing it. Im just starting to get some miniaturizing at the very front hairline maybe the first CM. Maybe its just maturing hairline who knows but that itch is there in full force.

Guys. I've just look at buying from ADC and under their FAQs they suggest that a prescription is required. Is this actually the case? I was buying from inhousepharmacy, but their website appears to be down. Thanks

I can vouch for AllDayChemist too. The dutasteride I bought from them is absolutely legit. Shipping is free now for orders over US$150.
