Been trying to follow my hairloss since taking accutane almost a year and a half a go. Im 36 with a hairline that has stayed about the same. I have experience major diffuse sheeding hundreds of hairs per day. I was having a burning itching scalp. I have been taking my thyroid meds and using nizoral and head and shoulders intense treatment and I think its working. I still loose hair but not as much. these pictures are about 7 months apart. I keep my hair short and understand I have a major cowlick and worl on back of my head. Just want some opinions on degree of baldness. I also loosing all my eyebrows at least 5 per day. I had dermatitis from the accutane. i think the dead skin in my eyebrows is improving alittle. The camera angle is a little different in each photo. Heavy flash. Under normal light its hard to see at all. Everyone at work thinks Im crazy. but I actually see the hair coming out. I guess its not that bad. I was taking propecia but the endocrine Doctor told me It was stress combined with telegom effluim because of the severe diffuse loss combined with eyebrow loss. I have been tested for autoimmune desease, negative. I am on 50mcg of synthroid. my tsh is 4.15 which is high but still clinically ok he says. The itching has subsided though. I do have major oily forehead and dandruff. I was loosing hair from sideburns back of head, ect. My eyebrows grow in and then fall out again. I am very gentle on my hair now. I also have develeped some sort of ocd with hair loss. Any opinions?
