I have taken finasteride over the years off and on and never had any problems. About 2 years ago I got back on it and after 6-7 months switched to proscar to lessen the cost. After being on that for 3-4 months I started to get what I thought were sides. Pain in my right teste and decreased erection quality. After noticing this I got off of it. 9 months or so went by and things got better, but not great, but I also made other changes. Better diet, decreased masterbation, wicked hot girl. At the end of the nine months I really started to notice a decrease in hair quality. Got on minoxidil and then added finestaride 1mg a month later back in 09/16. Everything was going fine in fact libido and erections were increased, third month started and I flat lined. 0 libido, great difficulty in getting an erection, and when I do it is about half. Also worth noting I suppose if you follow no fap, that I am trying this. Completely cutting out p**rn and masturbation. I've read after a week or two of doing this similar reactions happen.
The first time I felt the increase to 1.25 mg finasteride was the cause as I had taken 1mg before with no problems. Could be a reaction to finasteride, and might go away? Would you try to ride it out or drop immediately? Again, I am just a few pills into my third month. Any opinions appreciated.
