Been on finasteride+minoxidil for 10 + years. My hairline is fine, however the crown has been slowly receding. I cut my hair a while back short, which made the hair loss situation much more obvious. However, once the hair gets longer in conjunction with the "back-slick" style, its hardly noticeable. 29 years, male.

Would you do a hair transplant at this point, or am I exaggerating?

Crown transplants at your age is risky, IMO mid 30's as you could end up causing shockloss. You could always email pics to some top docs.

One factor that could affect that the crown hair transplant does not have the expected results is that in the donor areas there are not enough follicles. The area of the crown of the head requires a greater number of grafts and if there are not enough, the hair transplant will not be enough treatment.
