First of all I just got my hair buzzed with a #1 gaurd on the sides. So, it looks thin but believe me it will be a thick mess again in about 4 to 6 weeks.
My question is about the recession above the temples. I know this is the classic "early stages" of male pattern baldness, and I would currently be a Norwood 1 or 2.
However, when I went back at looked at pictures of myself from 5 years ago, my hair looks the same with the recession above the temples. Maybe 5 years isn't a long time, but it doesn't seem to have "progressed" any.
Is it possible this is just the way my natural hairline is, and that it's not male pattern baldness???
I am 29 years old.
