i am 23 and I am on rogaine and finasteride. they worked like a charm, but i am not sure if you need to apply rogaine on the area where the regrowth occurred that is caused by rogaine and finasteride.? i know if you are using rogaine alone, you must do it since rogaine can only maintain hair for short period of time, but if finasteride can maintain hair for a long time, does that mean that i can just apply rogaine to the area that is needed. so for thick and healthy regrew hair i can just leave it alone, and let finasteride. maintain it?

Apply rogaine to any area you think is shedding or is in danger of going bald. If it's thick, it's better not to apply in that area untill you start losing. All depends on your pattern and how aggressive the hair loss is to begin with.

For me, the middle of my scalp is holding strong, so I don't focus too much on it, mostly on my temples that are receding. It's working out so far.
