I am almost 19, and the thought of going bald has crossed my mind a few times throughout my life because my mom's brothers are bald. However, my dad is 54 and he always gets compliments on how much hair he has. So basically, a few months ago, I noticed that I could see through a bit of my temples on my hair, and the temples felt softer than the rest of my hair. And when I look through the hair, it looks like my corners are trying to go a bit higher up. Lately, I've been researching signs of balding, and some big things people were saying included finding a lot of hair in your shower or on your comb, and having a very itchy scalp, especially around the areas where the hair loss is mainly taking place. I personally haven't dealt with either one of those. When I shower, if I run my hands through my hair for about 30 seconds straight, I literally don't see any more than like 6 hairs. And as far as an itchy scalp, my scalp doesn't feel any more itchy throughout the day than it has my whole life. And I definitely don't notice me scratching my hairline a lot. Another thing that people have said which isn't extremely solid because it doesn't work this way for everyone, but it is said that usually if you can't grow a lot of facial hair, that generally means your head hair will stick around. And one of my biggest things about myself that I've hated for the past couple of years is how I could never seem to grow as much facial hair as most people my age that I knew. I feel like even now, I have the facial hair of the average 15 year old. And i overall have pretty little hair on my body. So basically what I'm trying to say is literally the only sign of male pattern baldness that I see so far is thinner temples. And I even looked at pics of myself I took on my cellphone about one and a half to two years ago, and I do see where my temples do look thinner. Whether or not it has gotten worse, it's kinda hard to tell. I really want to know because I want to know if I should do something about it if it is male pattern baldness, or if for now, I shouldn't worry about it. The idea of going bald at some point isn't so much alarming as going bald before I reach my 30's. For me at my age, my hair is very important to me. So what do you guys think I should do? Thanks.

yeah it would help with pics. but if u r a white male there is like a 99% chance your hairline is gonna change at some point. I'm having the same problem with my temples. I don't really notice any hair falling out but my hairline has started to itch but I take allergy medicine and it stops. so idk but ur hair Is prolly fine. its easy to get scared if you come on websites like this.
