Do you ever...

Do you ever just think about shaving the lot off and saying fu.ck it. I've been on Propecia for nearly 9 months, and while it has served me well, I'm slowly coming to the realisation that I will never ever regain the hair I once had. I've shaved my head before, and to be honest I don't look any better with hair than I do with none, but you know, hair is the in thing right now, and it would be hard to part with it, forever...

But hey, that's life you know. Life is a c*nt sometimes, and sometimes you have to make do with what you got. It's not so much the 'having hair' thing, it's the all the bullsh*t that goes with it, the money, the self consciousness, the anxiety, the hope, the lost hope, all the bullsh*t, and you think to yourself, is having a full crown of hair but mong hairline worth all the emotional investment? Is it worth it to let go of the hair to regain my pride, dignity and sense of self worth? Probably. Don't get me wrong, I will miss hair.

But I know in my heart I will never achieve satisfactory results, by satisfactory results I mean a perfect hairline, which is what we all desire, but we will never get. I dunno, each to their own. I'm not going to become one of those "proud to be bald" freaks, I'm just gonna work on my body, quit smoking and concentrate on more important things in life, such as professional life, r00ting and being happy. Supposedly only 60% of chix are open to a relationship with a bald dude, but those are still pretty good odds, and hey, if she don't like it, she can suck my hairy knob instead, haha!

I don't aim for a perfect line.
Even if HM comes out, I will opt for a high NW2 hair line. At my age anything less than that will look ridiculous.

I couldn't agree with you more Roger.., i shaved all mine off not long ago.., im only just comming to terms with shaving it all off but everyday im more and more happy at work and just in life.. I'll never be proud to be bald but i know my chance of a good hairline are slim and expensive and at a young age i think i can just about get away with shaving it off..

Shave it all off fella :)

But I'm just 25.

I am not targeting you GoodGuy, but in general people always say "If I am married I would not care" etc. It is as though they would stop caring about their appearance just if they got married?

I personally am doing this only for myself not for a woman. Looking around, I think that most females could care less. When I look in the mirror every morning, I don't like seeing a male pattern forming. I am never going to stop treating male pattern baldness as long as I am a healthy and financially-able person.
