i dont understand it....why do we need hair?..all of us are on this site for one reason..we need to fix a problem..but what problem, hairloss isnt a problem.. its a part of life.......Its funny how all of us think that if we loose our hair we loose our well being.....we dont need hair....we THINK we need it to fit in......so people dont embarrasse us.

So we look the same as the rest of the strangers that we dont give a sh*t about but wait....we care about what they think of us..and care about their comments aimed towards us.
I think thats weird.

I also think its funny how we are more envious of a person with a full head of hair then we are of a rich person.

25% of the males in their 20's are thinning and that almost doubles in our 40's,so why do we need hair....to feel better about oursleves?

Doesnt getting a good job or nice girlfriend make us feel better? Why are we so superficial in this day an age? What is with this obsession we all have.

yea, plus my head shape is really ugly. I care about what I look like, not what others think. Personally it's a confidents building type of thing. If i think I look like a million bucks, i'll act like it.

If this world was 100% male and we reproduce A-sexually (i'd have MILLion of kids by now :))I would more than likely have said f*** it and trimmed that b**ch as short as it goes.

The only reason I "obsess" about it is that it is a F A C T that girls prefer that they're guy have good hair. Even guys on this forum who are losing their hair admit that they would prefer to date girls who aren't suffering from FPB (female pattern baldness). It's instinctive to be this way.

When you go to the gym, do you think about building a healthy body and a strong heart, or do you concentrate on building and toning your muscles? Same idea. It's natural to want to look good for the opposite sex. That's what helps get the girlfriend, and I hate to say it, but also a better job, or a higher position at work. That's my opinion.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Being bald makes getting the girl you want much harder. It doesn't make it impossible, but much harder.

Welcome to the world m8..

This planet prides itself on beauty...balding looks like your ridden with a disease or you don't eat properly.

If we did come from apes why the hell did we start going bald...?

Bring on Gattaca!

if i had my head of hair now and i was in my mid-late 20s, id feel better. but at 18, to be thinning, its hard - you feel like youre losing your youth before its begun. you feel like your days of being "young" or perceived as young are limited. to have this burden at such a young age is quite tough.

also, of course you care about how others perceive you, and how you perceive yourself. it all affects self confidence.

Thast what im trying to say..its weird how if we have more hair it heightens our self esteem levels......wouldnt you get a boost if you whooped somebodies *** in a bball game? or if you found 20 dollars on the ground one day? ..neither would compare to winning the thinning battle.I just think its wierd when you really think about it.
