Do toweldrying minoxidil residue make it "useless"? After 1 hour

If i understood it right, minoxidil got its most absorbation within the first hours. Whould toweldrying the residue after 1 hour hurt too much for it to be a point of even do the applying?
Im am not talking scrubbing the scalp totally dry but just gently towel so it cant be seen that i applying it before work... I start at 7 am so hard to let it dry for more than 1 hour in the morning

After I finish applying minoxidil my hair is usually completely soaked. I try not to do what you described above (dry off the hair without really touching the scalp) but sometimes when I need to not look retarded shortly after applying I will do it.

I've only done it a couple times so im not too worried but in general I have a feeling it's not that bad. I figure the minoxidil on the hair itself is not going to make it to my scalp anyway, so long as I do it carefully it won't do much harm.

Im sure its "more" effective to leave it completely untouched but if you really need to dry your hair before going out then wait as long as possible and try not to touch the scalp
