Well you've got to be objective about these things. finasteride gave me sides, but clearly the majority of people have no problems. I don't like brussel sprouts, but it doesn't follow that I should go around internet forums posting about how they're a "bad" food.

I think your stance on Xandrox (i.e. topical finasteride) is a very confusing one. You realize that by putting that stuff on your head, you're absorbing finasteride? You might not be eating the drug, but it's getting into your bloodstream. Same sh*t, different method of absorption.

do you really think it's being absorbed into me? If that's the case maybe i should take the tablet, i feel no side effect whatsoever :O

Yes. There have been several studies indicating that topical application of finasteride has resulted in decreased serum DHT. In other words, the topical application leads to finasteride in the bloodstream. Since hair follicles aren't so far away from capillaries, this isn't really a surprising conclusion.

This is what people are saying about the oral medication. You might feel the same as you do now when you take it. Equally you might not, but you don't know till you try.

I have been on finasteride for about 2 months. I did have minor sides at first couple of weeks (testicle ache once or twice and watery semen) libido still good. I no longer have any sides. I would encourage you to try this med if your Doctor approves and see for yourself. What if you had a great response and no sides? You will never know unless you try for yourself.

good luck

ok, i might buy he finasteride from Dr.lee's site if i don't notice results with xandrox in a few months. That would be legit enough right?

also, what about one every other day? so the would effectivly be taking 0.5 everyday. Would that be beneficial? whilst also taking xandrox plus?

Iif the sides were ... itchyness.. occasional dizzines, maybe i'd tolerate the sides. but the fact they are sexual: man no way am i messing with my sexual function. I bet alot of people have a decrease of libido on finasteride but just say "oh i won't count that as a side, no big deal afterall"

I'll stick to xandrox for now. funny, i think i had ball aches for the first few days of use. Like i couldn't concentrate in class because of it. it went away after 2 days though. My sexual functions are still perfect though, so i have no idea if that was placebo. It was perhaps.

This is my personal take on finasteride, don't ask for scientific paper from me:

I have never had a problem in the man department so i was at first worried of doing finasteride. But I have found it to be the best thing ever.

finasteride takes away the DHT thus the inflammation in the prostate, thus performance is better, easier orgasm, wetter, the tightness is just not there, the fullness feeling and anxiousness is there, maybe because DHT is not messing with me anymore, so the prostate can just shoot better. Also lets not forget the increase in T. Understand follow males? LOL!

I don't want to start a fad or anything but if I was in p**rn I want this stuff as part of my regime for sure.

i guess we should just go back to your original question. do you stand a chance at stopping your hairloss? if you don't want to take finasteride, then the answer is no.

this is not to criticize you. it's just simply a fact that's been tried and tested. you're gonna need a miracle if you want your minoxidil to keep your hair for more than 3 years. either you take finasteride. or you can lose your hair. other products will only slow it down by very little

it sucks that the science/medicine isn't any better. but its just the reality

That site is for people who experience sides from propecia long after quiting is it not? How would it benefit me? unless your implying my unease with finasteride would be better understood there... which no doubt people would agree with me it's bad =D lol. But no i'm not here to get people to agree with me, but i don't think it's unreasonable for me to dislike finasteride for the fact it can have so many undesirable side effects...o-o

I take topical finasteride technicaly and i've had zero side effects so hey maybe the oral version infact wouldn't harm me but who knows.

Only go on propeciahelp.com if you want to sh*t your pants and cry your eyes out. It's the scary movie of hair loss websites, and the only place on the Internet where propecia users are able to report eyelid twitches, mental retardation, and permanent penis shrinkage without being thought of as ridiculous.
