I've been taking finasteride for almost a year nowand I started using minoxidil 5% 4 months ago. The hair around the sides and back of head are a lot thicker than they we're but the top and a little area on the back of my head are have gotten seemingly worse since I started minoxidil. Does the regrowth on the sides and back tell me that finasteride is enough to help me regrow the hair on top too? Should I wait it out with minoxidil? The hair where I apply minoxidil is a lot different in texture and everything. Also where I apply minoxidil there arehairs that have sprouted up about a few millimeters in length and have not continued to grow. What is the absolute worse that could happen if I were to stay on finasteride and nizoral and drop the minoxidil? Any suggestions are welcome, sorry I don't have pictures

Anyone out there? I amm just confused with the fact that when i run my hand through my hair it FEELS just like the hair on the back and sides of my head in terms of thickness. When I look it looks like I have all of my hair, just half of it is baby hairs that have popped up but haven't continued to grow. Do these new hairs grow at a much slower pace than healthy hairs? Any suggestions of where to go next would be appreciated as I can't really afford to go back to the doctor.

I would prob stay on the minoxidil for at least 6 month if I were you, they say that at the 6 month mark is when you should start to see results.
