Do I Need To Start Worrying Or Not?

Hi everyone,

I've never really paid attention to my hair but lately it feels like it's starting to recede. I'm really new to all of this and the more I research the more I start to worry. I took some pictures today and maybe someone can help me figure out what's going on.

How old? If you're early mid 20's, yes, you should take action. Wish I did at 25 when I noticed it receding. Could always hide it, but then it kinda sneaks up on you , as crazy as that sounds, and you're screwed.

Looks good. Hairline is fine for anyone over 30.

I mean your hairline looks fine. Doesn’t look like it’s receding. I have a friend who has an almost similar hairline but it was always that way. You look fine.

Some people do have hairlines like that, so its important you recognise how much you've receded over the last few years. Also how old are you ?Your density looks pretty good though

I have the exact same hairline. Photos from 8 9 years ago looks like i was balding lol. Maybe take finasteride as a precaution?

Sorry all, I just turned 24. I've attached some older pictures, from the last 2 years for comparison. I guess I've always had kind of a high hairline, everyone in my family does.

Also attached a few crown pics what do you think of that?

Looks to be receding, you're a little past a Norwood 2 with a similar hairline as mine. Of course I could be wrong, keep an eye on it and if it is getting worse get on finasteride.

Well because you can literally google JB’s pics from from a year or two ago and compare it the ones in that thread. Now I’m not saying if this is balding but I can’t be to quick judge since I don’t know if this is how his hairline has alway been without being provided past pics.

Good explanation. Realistically he is though, don't know anyone with a natural hairline that receded.

Yea, Fair enough. Looking through the pictures again he does seem to be receded.
