Do I have to take Nizoral?

I've been on Regaine Foam for 7 days.

I'm surprised my scalps not been itching. I've been washing the scalp once every two days with Head & Shoulders (although I have ordered Wash & Go gentle shampoo) and will start using that.

I do have Nizoral and know it works and makes your scalp feel really fresh and you kind of feel "loose & free" if you know what I mean :).

However my question is:

1) Do I need it even if my scalp feels fresh and without itch by just using "head & shoulders" every two days?

Because of this "big 3" thing, it's bugging me. Why is nizoral necessary with Regaine Foam in combating hair "re-growth".

Thanks.

It may not be necessary, however I believe there is some substantial evidence that nizoral is a mildly effective androgen inhibitor. One component important against combatting M.P.B.. Thanx for sharing

Okay then let's say I take it even though I don't want to take it. Is once every 7 days enough of the 2%?

Because on the regaine website does it not say use (recommend) a gentle shampoo.

From that I believe to think you don't want anything else other than regain running through the system.

I.e: put 5% minoxidil on and by using Nizoral you are minus-ing 1% = 4% throughout the regime.

Website says use gentle shampoo. From that I am understanding because you don't want to interupt the regaine formula to maintain the minoxidil 5% to be working at FULL efficiency.

i.e two steps forward , one step back. (slow progress)

I dont think it works this way. I think the gentle shampoo is just recommended in order to prevent damage from thoose commercial shampoos.
BTW , I am using both Nizoral 2% and minoxidil.

The dreaded itch came two months in. Disaster as if it feels the itch is destroying hair follicles.
Can someone get me in touch with Dr Singh please?

I need to get on the finasteride to make it the big 3. Last chance.
