There are 2 main arteries that supply the scalp and 85% of it is thru the superior(AKA superficial) temporal artery but the other 15% comes in thru the occipital artery.

To me it looks like you have something going on with occipital artery problems. "What a coincidence" your balding pattern resembles what the diagram location shows the artery is at:

You can find what I think is going on in "normal" balding in this thread. This is not really a hypothesis because the theory has already been proven in other diseases just that male pattern baldness is the first problem to show and other subsequent complications will too if something isn't done about it.

Reversing male pattern baldness, which I think is: arterial stiffness blowing out capillaries is probably close to "reversing" aging but slightly easier.

Some weapons right now at our disposal for doing this are:

1) low dose minoxidil- look at the threads about it and look to increase glutathione to stop nitrate tolerance.

2) NLRP3 inhibitors -look for the NLRP3 threads as it is a major player in vascular remodeling also.

"Indeed, the results of the Canakinumab Anti-inflammatory Thrombosis Outcome Study trial demonstrated that IL-1β-mediated inflammation plays an important role in atherothrombotic events and suggested that NLRP3 inflammasome is a key driver of atherosclerosis"

3) have a sip(not a 6 pack) of alcohol too:

And yes..little things can matter of which alcohol consumption(amount) determined hair loss in identical twins. Look page 2 and page 3 pictures in the link I posted.
