Do Diffuse Thinners Get A Bald Spot At Their Crown?

Alright, I am diffuse thinning. Been this way for a while. I'm 30, been obsessed with hairloss since I was 18. That's when I noticed the swirl at the crown of my head. And instantly thought it was a balding spot. And it carried on for years. My hair has gotten very thin at this point. The crown is actually the thickest hair I have on my scalp. I have had little recession on my hair line.

My dad's hairline is better than mine and he had diffuse thinning to the point he doesn't have much hair.

So I'm just wondered, if I'm going to get the "bald spot" I was so worried about or is my crown just going thin out like the rest of my hair has.

This is probably strange sounding because why would I worry since my hair loss is advanced but it's just apart of my OCD I can't shake. Hoping hearing from more knowledge individuals will help me.

Your crown will most likely just thin out like everything else. Im also a diffuse thinner but my crown is actually the first to go. Its different for everyone. With that being said, are you on any medication?

No. I've just tortured my mental health by obsessing about it. The thinning on top never really bothered me. I been buzzing my head for 6 years now. Various lengths (#3, #2, #1 guards). The crown is starting to thin a bit (compared to the rest) so instead of driving myself crazy (already doing it) I wanted to post this and ask.

My biggest concern at 18 was a bald spot, so even if I lost my hair..I just hopped it all went at the same time.

To your original question, I'm a diffuse thinner and have a bald spot on my crown, so it can certainly happen.
