Hey guys,
Quick question. I am planning on making my own spironolactone topical to save money, and I prefer a liquid base to cream because I have diffuse thinning and it's easier to apply. The plans I have seen in past threads use some combination of ethyl alcohol, PPG, and distilled water. I am allergic to PPG so I'm wondering, can I just use ethyl alcohol and distilled water (and spironolactone of course)? I'm having a hard time finding glycerin which is a PPG replacement, so I'd rather leave it out, but can someone tell me if the topical will "work" if I use only ethyl alcohol and water?
Thanks,
Luke
