It is almost the same thing... however, you have to be careful.

I was licensed tattoo artist for several years and gave it up due to crippling anxiety. I know from working in the industry. I would only use a tattoo machine dry if you know what you are doing. You can scar yourself or someone beyond your imagination. It’s not to be taken lightly.

You have to set the right needle depth/ speed and have a sterile CLEAN environment. Not to mention safety for blood pathology not everyday cleaning products.

This is probably a good alternative, however I just want “everyday people” to know the dangers of aimlessly trying to use a tattoo machine on yourself without proper training.
