digi cams & hair

IS it just me or do digital cameras make your hair look like sh*t and alot worse than it really is? I noticed this recently that pictures taken with a digital camera really make your hair look worse than say if you looked in a mirror or if taken witha regular camera. I dont know what it is but it happens..anyone else notice this?

Perhaps your flash setting is too high.

I have noticed the same thing, but I believe my flash setting was also making the thining very accentuated. I usually just don't take pics now to see my progress, I use mirrors to get different views that one would get seeing my hair. It's not like some guy is sitting on top of my head with a Maglite.

I find the my hair looks better in photos then it does in real life
