Diffuse thinning

Hi,

I am after some advice re: diffuse thinning on top, I have attempted to use Finasteride but had to quit due to severe sides, what are peoples thoughts on using only Minoxidil and nizoral, I am currently a NW2.5, back and sides are definitely thicker than the top.

some people take finasteride every other day to minimize sides or you could lower your finasteride dose if your willing to try agaiinn!

but every other day may be too infrequent - ie. not enough to block enough DHT

all pretty common sides when you start taking finasteride. They usually go once your body adjusts to the drug. How long did you take it before you stopped?

About 4 days, sides came on quick and frankly scared the hell out of me, I naturally have a very high libido and it just disappeared over night and the numbness was disturbing. I thought the sides from finasteride were over played but obviously not.

4 days? you should have stuck with it IMO. You read too many horror stories on the internet, and they're grossly exaggerated.

nearly 5 years. Haven't experienced any further male pattern baldness so I count that as a success

5 years is great sucess. You were NW2 , 3 ? For how long you think you will last?

Probably NW2 . I use Nanofibres to hide the crown thinning. I wish I had more hair on the temples/front
I hope it will last forever, obviously

Do you think that minoxidil will thicken the scalp hair or do I run the risk of further damage.

im 17 with bad diffusing on top, but a decent hairline, im on topical spironolactone and rogaine once a night for 6 months so far,

will a 1# buzz conceal it?
