Diffuse thinning

Fellas,
need some advice from reading on here and elsewhere I am a diffuse thinner. been like this for nearly ten years and hasnt really changed much in that time. Started minoxidil spray 2% around 2 months back and am seein a little thickenin which am very pleased with. I am booked to see the Boots chemist in 2 weeks and was plannin on gettin finasteride aswell. Anyone know if this is useful for a diffuse thinner or is it just better to stick with the minoxidil?? any advice gratefully received. This site is ace by the way, I realy feel for u younger guys I noticed my scalp showing through at 19, at 29 I have had 10 years of tryin to avoid gettin my hair wet and standing directly under strong light!

Hey Scouse, I would get on the finasteride as well as nizoral. I have been using all three for almost two months (along with spironolactone for the past 2 weeks) and I am certain I am seeing some regrowth. I am a diffuse thinner and have been so since the age of 18. It has been a very slow process but like you I also avoided lights and wore a hat for a hell of a long time. The best thing I ever did was shave my head when I was about 22 and I am now 32. Anyways, get on the big three and see if it helps! I would also suggest you switch to a 5% minoxidil solution. I personally use rogaine foam. Good Luck man!
