Diffuse Thinning? Thin Hairs Everywhere

Over the past month or so, my hairline has changed drastically. I’ve been seeing these thin, wispy hairs sticking out all over my scalp, especially in areas where a thicker hair used to be there before, like my hairline. I haven’t seen too much hair shedding, but my hairline looks noticeably receded due to these hairs thinning everywhere, and I’m not sure if they’re supposed to fall soon and grow back or that I’m diffuse thinning.

No you are not diffuse thinning. Monitor it for now and stay away from any lifetime commitment products. If you notice pain, headaches, itching, rash, flakes, pulling out hair easily with your fingers, then worry.

I’ve had some dandruff and a few hairs seem to come out easily when I get shower, I’d say maybe 5-10. The rest of the thin hairs seem to just stick out of my head.

part the middle of your head under light , then do the same with the sides of your head in the "permanent zone "
a small difference in hair density should be ok , if the sides are much denser yes you d better go to a doctor

Will do. How does my hairline look for now? I’m only 19 and I have a history of baldness on one side of my family. It might not look too concerning right now but after just a month, I’ve had to go from styling my hair back to wearing it like a combover. Hence why I’m in a bit of a panic.
