Diffuse thinning (Telogen effluvium)

Hello dear sirs.

I am looking for some information about diffuse thinning that I am affected by.

The only hair that is falling out of my head is thin hair , and I must say that it is falling out a lot recently.

Or sometimes , I have a hair with a thick side, and a thin side (the upper part of this hair is thick , while its lower part is thin) , conclusion : this is a very recent thinning because the thin part is about 0.5 cm length.

Something important that I have noticed as well is that the remaining thick part was very "corrugated" , according to this website , a sane hair (belonging to some person that is taking it easy and chilling out) would be like this , whereas a damaged hair due to stress would be like that.

my hairline hasn't been receding , so I am quite positive that I have a diffuse thinning.

I am planning on making some hormonal tests (thyroid) and anemia blood test and then see my dermatologist.


I just want to have some testimonies from diffuse thinners about the evolution of Tellogen effluvium (when did it grow back , did it shed less ...etc) , and if you guys were stressed before it occurred .

bump,

can it be as sudden as having a 50% thick and 50% thin hair with the same bulb ?

I am also noticing thinning around my ears , the above thinning happens only in the NW5 area , it was fine 2 months ago.

I omitted to mention that my scalp is very itchy these days.
