from what i know: it is a normal type of male pattern baldness. i think its all the same to re-grow, just treat it early. vitamins to take to help my hair grow, maybe msm to grow faster, stronger hair. ive also heard about green tea extract and saw polmetto. minoxidil works for all types of hairloss. ive mever heard about a hairdryer, it might make it uselss so just let it dry. also consider propecia. its fda proven to help. hope this was helpful. j

I would advise against blow drying you hair after minoxidil use. Keep in mind that the wet sh*t in your hair after you apply the minoxidil is half alcohol. Blow drying it might kind of fry your hair. If you do decide to try it, I suggest using a low heat.

Personally, I style my hair BEFORE applying the minoxidil. With a dry head of hair, the hair is 'puffy' and off of my head. I take the minoxidil applicator (I use the old dropper, I hate that new dauber thing), wipe the sides of the dropper off so that the wet sides of the dropper don't stick to my hair, and 'poke' it through my styled hair until it reaches my scalp, then I release a droplet. I then dot my head with these droplets concentrating of course on my affected areas but always leaving a row of droplets up the center of my head and onto my crown for preventative reasons.

I know it sounds strange, but by applying the minoxidil after styling, it really keeps a lot of the greasiness off your hair! It really makes a huge difference. I have to give the credit to Cassin for this one, he shared this technique with me and I must admit that it really works well!

If you are going to blow-dry your hair it is reccomened that you let the minoxidil dry fully first and then blow dry. Drying while the solution is still wet on your scalp will only cause the alcohol to evaporate faster and decrease the amount of minoxidil absorbed.
