Diffuse Thinning and Scalp Sensitivity To Coldness

The weather has been pretty cool today, which is great after all the unbearable heat we've been having. The problem is, my scalp feels like it's freezing. It's one of the most annoying things about balding for me. It's different when your hair is cut really low and you feel the chill in the air all over, but only feeling it in one spot is highly distracting.

Anyone else dealing with this?

I personally think the 'scalp sensitivity to coldness' is only Androgenetic Alopecia related.

There are plenty of guys who say that they can feel their hair loss (like the 'male pattern baldness itch?'). It could be something similar to that, or it could just be that that spot is more sensitive to temperature due to less/thinner hair there, but either way, the effect is the same and it's getting on my nerves.

I still get the 'male pattern baldness itch' even being on treatments and responding well to them. I think it's something some of us just have to deal with. Another possibility are the elevated levels of PGD2 that's found in the scalp that suffers from baldness which could definitely cause the tight feeling and sensitivity of the scalp.
