Like many people I have used traditional rogaine but without much success.
Having read all the nice stories from people using the new Foam, I decided to give it a try but I have two problems with it :
1) I have a diffuse thinning so no real baldspots but little hair. This makes the process of applying the foam very difficult as most of it remains on the hair instead of going directly to the scalp, especially in the vertex area where it is difficult to apply the proper amount.
I did try to spray the foam directly on the hair, as suggested in another thread, but that's not easy...the proper dosage is hard to find out.
Any idea about how to solve this problem as rogain on hair has, of course, no effect ?
2) the rogaine booklet suggests to apply the foam on a dry scalp. But when the scalp is dry it is more than difficult to part hair. So this is what I do : I take my shower, use a towel to quickly dry hair but I don't wait 20 minutes.
Like this, it's not too difficult to part hair but, the scalp is not 100% dry. Maybe it's 80% dry only.
Do you thing the efficiency of the foam is still maximum doing so ?
thanks for your inputs.
