I am diffusely thinning since 14-15(100-120 hairs in the shower), it stopped around 17(20 to 30 hairs) or so until my entire scalp became thinned. I am 22 yro now. I'm on minoxidil since 2019, it did almost nothing for regrowth but I think it reduced my hairloss. I apply it once a day, sometimes skip a day. My entire dad side family is Norwood 7 while my mom's side are mostly nw3. I've always been sick of my situation and wish I could have a head of hair as thick as 99% of males that i know. Any diffusers here with success using finasteride? I live in Egypt and the doctors here are brain dead and keep reciting the same finasteride kills your sexual performance, you're too young blah blah bullshit. So I've withdrawn from the idea till now, I'm getting older I don't want to lose whats left. My hair also looks unhealthy and I dont know what to do about it.

I think you can get some regrowth. But you should've done finasteride before minoxidil. It can maintain the hair you have that you didn't regrow from minoxidil.
As for your doctor saying it would kill sexual performance. Your counter argument is that your sexual performance won't matter if women don't ever find you attractive as a bald guy. I say this because I know over in the middle east women are far more picky and always avoid baldness. Especially Indian women.

I have the exact same hair type as you, also a diffuse thinner, but less afressive. But in my case I also have temple recession and a future NW4-5A

5a isn't a horrible final pattern. A great surgeon can give you hairline and midscalp coverage. You will have a minor bald spot in the back but you can buzz it and no one would really notice. You could get minor coverage on the crown. I'm telling you, you have options after losing hair if that is the final pattern.
Good point. And yeah, its not like i get to have sex anyway, who cares about sexual performance. I'm gonna have the next dermatologist STFU and type down the prescription. Sick of these c**** prescribing me minoxidil like how f*****g original bro
