[diffuse Loss] My Hair Loss Story (just Starting)

Hi All,

It has been one week since I have started Finasteride, and I'd like to share my progress through this post/blog.

Background:

• Just turned 30 years old
• My dad has lost at least 70% of his hair at the age of 60;

For those interested, I have performed a full hormone profile as well as PSA before starting finasteride.

I started finasteride. on March 10th. Doctor suggested 3x doses per week, each 1.25 mg (Proscar 5 mg / 4). I have found no side effects so far, so I am considering upping it to 1.25 mg every to days, or even 1.25 mg every day. Not sure yet about that.

The only side effect you could say I felt was higher testosterone, as I was able to lift easier at the gym. But that could be due to other factors as well.

I hope my hair responds well to finasteride. Fingers Crossed
