I'm 27 and my hair is thinning, but it does not follow the norwood scale as far as I can tell. Now I am under no grand allusions that this is anything other than male pattern baldness, but why don't I have the dramaticaly receeding hairline like most people? My hairline is relatively unaffected but I have a very noticible thin spot on the vertex, surrounded by general thinning, and no loss on the crown. Is this a normal pattern?
A bit for back story, my mom's father had some loss in his 50's. One brother is bald the other has a full head of hair, so I'm sure it's male pattern baldness. I've always had thin hair, I've even had hair dressers ask me in middle school if I had always had thin hair.
