Hi,

I have posted here about three months ago when I noticed that my hairline has moved backward slightly. Now after three months, I haven't notice much change on my right temple or the right corner of my frontal hairline(NW0 or NW1 on my right temple). But the left side is what gets me worry, I am not sure if i am seeing things or it HAS moved backward more compare to three months ago. I don't know if it's the angle of the pictures or what, so I need you guys' opinions! Does my left frontal hairline look like NW2 or NW1 ?

And both of my older brothers are NW2 and my father is NW6 or 7.

I think I am start propecia after a year or so if it keep moving backward. Due to alot of reasons, I just can't start propecia now...

thx for the msg.. your hair looks strikingly similar to my hair about an yr ago. Don't make the same mistake I made.. start finasteride immediately..

Thanks for the inputs, guys.

I just can't afford proscar because seeing a derm. is too expensive at the USA since I don't have any insurance and I am studying oversea now which cost alot of money too. I was considering buying it on the internet but I find it rather not trustworth. So I really have to wait until i finish University which will be around May or August 2011. Let's see where I will be at when I am 22, I hope that I will still be a NW1 or NW2 when I am 22 since my older brothers are both NW2 and they're 24 and 26 years old.

Btw, zeroheat, where do you get your finasteride? local store or internet?

I'm also an international student in Canada, and proscar was not TOO expensive. $40 to see a doctor at a walk-in clinic, and around $100 CAD for 6 months worth of proscar at a local pharmacy.. so $20-25 per month for treating hair loss, that's not expensive to me..

I had no issue with hair loss even an yr ago.. it was just a small temple loss like you.. then it started to accelerate and now I'm at a point where I need to use some concealer to hide the loss, because top is starting to thin as well. I bet I'd be in MUCH better condition if I started an yr earlier. You WILL regret it if you wait.. I'm willing to bet everything on it.

Alright man, Thx for the reminder.
I will see what I can do to get proscar in a not too expensive and cheap way, If i can't i will just wait. Btw,man your hairloss is rather fast :shakehead: . Common Asian face features look very ugly with no hair (although all races tend to look ugly with no hair, but I think asian is the worst without hair), I don't want to go back to Hong Kong and see my friends with me balding badly...

Yeah, I'm losing ground pretty fast after I started finasteride.. I'm hoping this is just a shed but I'm not sure. I agree that balding is worst for asian men.. tell me ONE good looking bald asian man. Black ppl can just shave it off and actually look better, and many white people can pull off the buzz cut.. but not asians, lol.

I don't see a difference in your hairline in the current pictures versus the older ones.

Your hairline does not seem to have moved back over the past couple of months.
